๐ The Ivy Lee Method
Six tasks, ranked, done in order.
Updated 2026-07-14
Over a century old and still recommended by James Clear, the Ivy Lee method is brutally simple: write the six most important things for the day, ranked, then do them one at a time. No moving on until each is done. The hard cap of six fights over-listing, and the strict order removes the 'what should I do next?' decision that derails ADHD focus. List your six and start at the top.
The list

- 2nd most important
- 3rd
- 4th
- 5th
